Day Course in Derby: Engaging with Faith in Science

ENGAGING with FAITH IN SCIENCE

A study day to help Christians engage with contemporary scientific issues

Topics to be explored:

  • How to relate Science and Religion (Rev. Dr Rodney Holder, Faraday Institute, Cambridge)
  • The Big Bang, Evolution and the Bible (Prof Hugh Rollinson, Faraday Institute, Cambridge)
  • Natural disasters – whose fault? (Rev. Dr Roger Abbott, Faraday Institute, Cambridge)
  • Engaging the public in Science-faith Dialogue (Prof Stephen Smye,University of Leeds)

It will take place on Saturday 1 st  September  2018 from 10am 4:30pm at the Multifaith Centre, University of Derby.
